Sea Kayaking, Galiano Island

Galiano Island is the second largest of the Gulf Islands, located between Vancouver Island and the mainland Pacific coast of British Columbia. Though discovered by Dionisio Galiano from Spain in 1792, Galiano Island was home to the Coast Salish people for over 3000 years prior.

Today, Galiano is known for its laid-back pace of life, thriving arts community and as a recreation destination with some of the best cycle touring, scuba diving and sea kayaking on the west coast.
